as someone who's read the novel, my understanding is that scenarios happen independently, starting from the main scenario 1, in different places. such as planets or demon realms.
some places may start before others, while others may happen concurrently, especially if there are no time limits to a scenario.
don't forget that's for the main scenarios, which are the ones that canonically lead to the "climax".
sub scenarios are self contained (such as the revolution scenario) and are meant to complement the main scenarios.

Returnees are people who, at death, return to a previous point in their timeline.
IIUC this is splitting timelines, as the beast tamer girl from one of (subsequent? I don't remember) Joo's runs (as narrated in the book) happened in this run

The dragon has played a different instance of the demon realm game, which at this point is fair to think is made anew each time a new demon realm is created (not unlike a game of werewolf)
As for scenarios in general, I think that's up to the dokkaebi; all we know (or I remember) is that they are for the benefit of the constellations's entertainment, and span the universe: a bit like out TV shows and target demographic

Huh…. Okay so the watches of this demonic world seem to have chronograph buttons, however the face lacks any dials for a timer function. The bar on the other side of the watch seems to suggest these were once Pocket-Watches (or at least the design is inspired by WW1 and WW2 pocket watches that were converted into a watch), which is an interesting addition. I’m not really nitpicking, i’m just excited a korean manwha features an actual watch (instead of an Apple Watch).
