prolly needs a tragedy tag (well, i guess that'd be too spoilery but that tends to be a tag even in chapter one)

tho wonder if it'll show the aftermath/go past the original game

even after making amends/reconnecting with friends, it'd be hard to imagine Hero and Aubrey just 'accepting' how Basil and Omori/Sunny staging Mari's suicide. Wonder if we'll get to see more of Basil's past too, b/c even if things were 'good' at the beginning before the tragedy, normal 11? year olds wouldn't think 'hey let's make it look like she hanged herself' b/c i imagine if it had been discovered as usual it's not like they would've gone to juvie or so, or Sunny being sent off into some mental institution by himself lol[/SPOILER]
Although I doubt they would be anger towards him, I defiantly believe they would be even more concerned for Sunny/Omori's and Basils mental health while also sad on the revealing. I think they would be weary of both their health's at all times for the rest of their lives. Finally what would be interesting to see is if Sunny/Omori tells his mother the truth of it all.

I highly recommend AGAINST reading this manga for anyone that's interested in the series but hasn't played the game yet. It's just an adaptation made to be a cash grab without giving any respect to the original series.

You might say "It's only been 2 chapters, how can you be so sure?" well you don't need to beileve MY words but hear the creator's for yourself from the game's kickstarter page.

"I tried drawing a graphic novel, but while I was drafting the chapters, the story’s path seemed too linear. I wanted the audience to be able to explore outside of the pages, and the more I drafted, the more I felt that a graphic novel wouldn’t be the best medium to tell this story. I wanted the story to be fully interactive, and I wanted the audience to be able to make choices. All my ideas were coming to me in the form of gameplay. I needed to make OMORI a video game." - Omocat on the game's kickstarter page.

On top of this, the story so far is completely unfaithful to the pacing and everything that made "Omori" into what it is.
