Of all the thing to be picked up, why this series? It's not like I hated it, but there's so much great stuff that doesn't seem to get a look, so why this meandering series get picked up?

Hopefully the author fixed the pacing.

Woah, someone check on the artist. Their hands must be suffering from drawing more than 2 panels a week

I'm wondering whether or not the manager asked him out for more reasons than just a drink

I don't know why, his expression just gave me this feeling...

Oh neat it got serialized.

I wonder how far he has to travel to get to this store to buy the dress. Most people I know irl that wear this style of clothes make most of it themselves or commission it from craftspeople. Stores that specialize in this style are pretty rare.
Not so in Japan, especially in Tokyo. Travel a few stop to Shinjuku/Akihabara/etc and you are pretty much spoiled for choice.

More realistic than drawing them like they're actors in Suits tbh
That was not the point. If you ever worked in an environment where everyone wears a suit, you would have known how realistic means for that topic.
How is drawing everyone with clothes 1 or 2 sizes too big more realistic than to draw everyone with suits their size? If realism is what you want, then it needs to vary in the way some characters don't know how to, but most people should be wearing their suits correctly (because that's how it is IRL). Here, it's like no one knows how to dress but they all do it the same way. That's far more unrealistic, and just reflecting that the author doesn't know how to wear a suit or to choose one to their size. Even the frilly cloths they draw ressemble baggy jeans. That's fitted for Akira's looks but not for Sotaro. Gothic lolita dresses are most of the time a mix of tight and loose parts, not all loose parts, but the mangaka just shows that Sotaro doesn't know how to dress. Too bad for a character who loves to dress himself.
