Maybe it's because I'm really becoming too old even with my prescription glasses, but I really cannot for the life of me see anything identifiable, or even distinguishable, in whatever is in the child's chopsticks. Doesn't even look like shrimp. It's looks like illustrator laziness and little else to me.
The far more relevant clue is the little girl spying on the third panel's couple, dressed more like pre-2000's, to indicate they both are immortal already.
