Is interesting because unlike other stories where the MC gets a pop up window this protagonist is totally naive to games and a bit slow in the brain, so he simply doesn't undertsand the situation.

I mean ,even tho his friend called him 'good looking', all the girls seem to be uncannily thirsty, even if they're open about flirting in a friendly way that doesn't cross any lines while in public IDK how many would think that while in convo with him as opposed to fantasizing later b/c i feel like some might accidentally blurt stuff out versus a housewife who'd make an inappropriate joke like "oh my husband hasn't satisfied me lately but seeing a young man like you in our apartment complex is a sight for sore eyes" or some kinda cat calling thing you'd expect a male blue collar worker to do as opposed to an average pent up lady

(tho the very beginning said something about +10 to his appearance so maybe whatever force behind the message window is boosting him or so. who knows, maybe it's some succubus/incubi who can get 'energy' indirectly if he hooks up with ppl versus them doing the 'work' so to speak)

I'm not gonna expect him to like, suddenly just dump his gf via text and then immediately hook up with this waitress who's eyeing him, since his gf is supposed to tell her side of the story first to beat (or meet) the allegations, but if he actually did that, it might be amusing... just because it's the opposite of the sheepish "I'll break up with her when the time's right" like he's planning to do.

It's scummy for sure, but it's not as boring as he currently is right now. And anyway she'd probably just as sooner dump him first before that actually happens, if it's true that she's really dissatisfied with him like what the window said before.
