I was just playing Persona 5 and this same situation of being the only employee happens if you work in the beef bowl restaurant. Sucks it seems to be the norm. Also I love the running gag of Isawa listening to food suggestions and then completely ignoring them 😂

Sounds like this experience hits a bit too close to home for the author)) I hope that at the very least whenever such a situation happens people are understanding and courteous towards the sole person manning everything... One can only hope

if Yamaka is based on Yoshinoya, then think of it like a Subway where everything's either easy to make, or they're already pre-cooked and only requires minimal prep. Having only one person to do everything is bs though and corps shouldn't get away with it

It is min maxing, the assumption that they had is "at this hour, on these days, we don't get a lot of customers, so one dude should do, even a newbie can do it!"
For restaurant chains, they get to call someone from another store when that happens, for single business they either have to take L, or call the boss to come in and help, praying that the boss answers that is
