As other ppl have said, this isn't about the author dragging the story, and most like, well, this wasn't easily just going to be solved with that crazy fan stalker in the first place. We have been told that the stalker seems more serious than a delussional fan being one.
Personally, I don't think it's "multiple" stalkers, and perhaps it's a very specific group of people that are VERY organized and have money. The old lady that was involved in that celebrities' houses' robberies simply prepared the scene for those guys to enter the place, although it's probably that she didn't know them personally (hence the confusion with the delussional fan) and was contacted BY them over SNS or phone. If we go with that train of thoughts... I wouldn't discard the chef being part of this, although it's possible he is not "the" stalker per se?
I mean, wasn't that moment lots of chapters ago where it seemingly looked like he knew the fan from somewhere? And he seems pretty interested in Moo-yi for some reason or another? In some way, if he was hired "privately" or "personally" by these stalkers to prepare those lunch boxes, he would get very interested in WHY are they following Moo-yi, right?
At least we have a hint, and someone involved has a tattoo on their ankle... this sub plot is finally thickening, lol.
