This would've been a great series if it weren't so rushed near the ending 😅 Well...at the end of the day, it was a good read 😁 As far as the ending concerned tho, it makes sense to me that he'd disappear like that. He's not a baseball player. He's a gambler and he left the scene like one. His job was to bring his team win the penant race and be the champion, and he did exactly that the gambler's style. What he did so far was to boost his chances of success for his last gamble on the P league vs S league, and he won his gamble splendidly 😁
