Then again, seems like Hajirudin was the only one who was actually directly dealing with Buggy's crew to claim their bounties and such before he broke his contract so he might have some reasons why he was working for them for awhile.

Both Luffy and Buggy are Yonkou now and seems like his issue is more of racial pride. I guess offering loyalty isn't the same as working as mercernary and getting paid.
