Shepherd Sommers and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. In today's story, Sommers meets a man after his heart and uses him in many ways.

And he deserves every bit of it.

The secret was always Zoro's bandana... It'll be a legendary icon, as great as Luffy's Strawhat.

On a more serious note: This was a nice chapter showing Zoro's growing understanding of Conqueror's Haki, and in a way it works out. After all, when Mihawk trained Zoro; Zoro didn't have anyone to exert his will over and/or tame like how Luffy had in the island where he trained in 2 years when it was a matter of survival. Sure there were the monkeys, but Zoro had defeated them, and like Mihawk, Zoro doesn't make it a habit of constantly beating people whom he already defeated.

So Zoro developing his conqueror's haki through this method, of using Sommers as a training dummy is suitable, as not only is Sommers immortal, but also augmented with Imu's omen.

All in all, great chapter, and bye Sommers it was nice knowing you... Well not really, but you were entertaining when you were getting thrashed.

Perona's "beards?" answer got a good laugh out of me lmao, I think about half of the conquerors users we've seen have at least some kind of facial hair? Maybe we need a second timeskip to let the monster trio grow out some facial hair (or more of it in Sanji's case)...

I love the trope of excessively chopping immortal/high-regen foes.

Zoro freestyling self-taught Haoshoku is just so funny, only loses to captain kid's free trial conqueror haki - color of the barely royal chump - and it's power to mildly annoy some random.

Zoro learning to use Haoshoku Haki in the middle of a fight reminds me of when he fought Daz Bones in Alabasta and he was learning to cut Iron, which I believe was his first time using Armament Haki.
