This chapter made no sense. The reactions are not matching the supposed words spoken whatsoever.

"What's the matter? Do you not have ears?" Should be "Do you not have a dantian?" As he can't cultivate without a dantian he can't join the school as a student, but can as a low level martial artist who would have the status of servant. Ye Xuan's broken dantian is replaced with a sword dantian, which is required for his sword cultivation. When the associate dean attempts to observe Ye Xuan's dantian, the spirit sword master inside him hides the sword diantian so it looks like he has no dantian at all.
