I love the story. Beyond any gender, MC Is just committing to the dream.

Taking the hard decisions in order to accomplish It deepest desires.

This wasnt about gender (in this moment), It was about doing what Is necessary for one's dream.

It's interesting. Gongwon likely didnt think that far ahead in his statement. Basically just grieving the loss of his "ideal eoman" by saying he should have used th e bath bomb from the start. But there's clearly a respect for Sanghyun in him and an apprehension/sadness at seeing him seemingly forego his old struggle for what he presumes is turning into a pretty girl. From what he says he doesn't seem to know its past life.

Also we now basically swap from male Sanghyun as the primary to Han Yoil. I wonder how it'll affect him. Though to us it has been mainly Han Yoil Regardless due to the perspective, there is a clear change as one can presume he used to let himself be Sanghyun when had free time, slept, etc. And now she'll have to start seeing herself more as Han Yoil primarily with occasional Sanghyun which is sure to have an effect on her and her surroundings, specially Lee Ruha, and the abandoning of her tracksuit as safety net.

I like that this story is actually exploring the physiological conflict. A lot of genderswap series I've seen lately kinda just gloss over it and act like the past mental identity was just a small backdrop for setting tgats occasionally brought up offhandedly, when as seen here it can be some juicy drama and character development.

Phew, I knew it, that's my GOAT Gongwon! He'd never stoop that low lol, but he definitely made me nervous that he would stoop so low so as to do blackmail lol. like forcing her to wear those shorts for example, but no our ethical sleazebag would never do that.

Though on the MC's drastic development. I'm still slightly apprehensive on the move. it seems like MC is slightly forgoing her male form(Iruha-bros it's so fucking over. what will she do when fast, regular contact isn't possible...)? or at least in a way that makes it far harder for her to turn back to his old self (i.e fem bath bomb with male perfume when needed). Seems the vocal trainer's forcefem and the push Gongwon gave for MC to do some introspection gave MC the push needed to go full time on Fem!MC's body where as before MC was changing all over the place. MC doesn't seem to be fully ready for the change though, with her still self-conscious of her female body. Well at least the upside is that the perfume's side effect will no longer effect the MC any further (no further subliminal changes!)

Though this step taken by the author isn't one easily reversed, I was kinda thinking that there is still some juice left with MC trying to keep his sense of (Male!MC)'s self together instead of jumping into the thick of it with the femming. It's like thermonuclear warfare, once it's out there's no putting the genie back in the bottle for us, But let's see what the author has in store for us. At least this plot progression gives very solid foundation for the long awaited So-ae (remember her? the manwha keeps blue-balling us on her being important but her last appearance was like 20 chapters ago!) arc, i'm betting she, his childhood friend and Lee Ruha will make MC realize he is appreciated and well thought of in his Male!MC form.

Also it's unfortunate but it seems that our interactions with Wonjin will be far limited until Fem!MC makes it into the idol debut arc since she doesn't want to sow even more conflict into the already heated rivalry between the two best hopefuls that may join the debut group.

Love the introspection the MC and Gongwon has though, they act as great foil with one another. The C-suit seems to take the situation extremely seriously, not often does the director make that kind of face.

The author is pretty goated at leaving hints and plot threads way before they get properly introduced, remember how Dabi was teased back when she caused So-Ae (lol, ever forgotten) to fall wayyyy back in the "getting used to the female body" arc, so i'll give him that. His past works of making drama thrillers is a bonus for this.
He used the perfume 4 times before gongwon caught him. There is probably going to be at least one or two more changes because of that.

This is my theory when it was still chapter 49. From the least likely(no.1) to the 100% going to happen(no.5). and also the chapter where my theory was made.

1. Olivia knew a Sang-hyun who isn't Sang-hyun Baek (ch.35)
2. Sang-hyun Baek will be important in the future (ch.23, 35, 38)
3. Sang-hyun's older brother will returns in the future (ch.45)
4. Bae Hyo-jeong will be jealous of Han Yoil (ch.46)
5. Gongwon will find out about Sang-hyun and Yoil (ch.29, 42,48)

Bonus theory
Yoil will remember her past life

It's really cool that a theory that I thought would 100% happen, turned out to be true just 2-3 chapters after I made this list.
No! Bae Hyo-Jeong. Let them be friends. :(
Anyway in all seriousness it makes sense. She has no idea how much effort Han Yoil really did put into it. He even changed his gender to make it happen.
I do really hope we see her remember past life. It would be waste otherwise. What was his past life like? How would the memories impact him? Negatively? Positively?

This manwha keeps on surprising me. Gonwong's 'Aren't you just deciving people' is a large reason why I can't fully enjoy manga's like Onimai, where the whole plot hinges on the mc turning into a different person, entering a school with a fake background and developing meaningful relationships using in that other body

So the jerk has a heart of gold. That being said, I will miss the loss of the perfume, and the clonflicts that it brought. I was hoping Lee Ruha might accidentally get hit by it and turn into a man that looks like he belongs in a Chinese donghua. Now what will Lee Ruha do? Stand against the wall doing nothing?
And I too hope that the other aspect of this story - that Han Yoil is turning into her previous self - gets explored. Who was this woman? Why did she die? So forth and so forth.

So he will not go back being he and stay as she until she die, wow
I don't think it will be that extreme, he still has attachments in his old life after all.
I think this is more him accepting that being Han Yoil is a full time commitment that he can't half arse in any way, and that changing willy nilly could cause many more problems than it might potentially solve.
I mean imagine the sort of shitstorm that would erupt if this got out there if and when he actually becomes an idol.

So he will stop jumping from Sanghyun to Yoil anythime, big bet he is taking. I understand his logic, but Sanghyun is not dead, there are people waiting for him, his grandma, the friend from the his ex school, Lee Ruha, they all will be affected by not being able to contact him
It's implied his grandmother knows about his past life, so I guess she would probably recognize him as Han Yoil

I feel like this is opening the floodgates. Now that someone's become the "first," I feel like the chances of other characters find out as well will shoot up soon. Though, of course, before that happens we've got to both get over this "first discovery" and get used to Sanghyun sticking with Yoil as his default form.

And I'm pretty confident that this is just about his default form, as, as has already been noted, he only returned the blue perfume, keeping the red one. If I'm remembering correctly, the blue is for switching into his "past life form" and the red is for switching into his "current form." (This how the bath bombs work, at least...) So the fact that he's keeping the red perfume means he's probably still planning on using it. (Which makes sense, considering it's not like "Kim Sanghyun" can just disappear off the face of the Earth without anybody noticing.)

I hope you mean "never return to my former self again" in a more metaphorical or mental sense buddy, because I'm pretty sure it'd cause problems if your male self just disappeared off the face of the earth entirely.
