The horns are sensitive? You would expect horns to have about the same sense of touch as nails or claws. After all, they're typically used as weapons.
This suggests the horns actually evolved as an advantage for finding a mate, much like the colorful feathers of a peacock. Clearly this means being touched like that is exactly what they were meant for all along

Japanese Oni Horns have always thrown me off. They look soft, but they are so stiff...
