The ending would've worked better if they didn't untwist the twist of the story by revealing that Morimoto was not the one who fell... I didn't get the 'bad taste' line in the last panel on page 172. It's unclear who said it and it doesn't fit in with the rest of the conversation. Was Tagami insulting the guys or were the guys making fun of his taste in women? Or alternatively, were the guys making fun of Tagami's love for Morimoto's cooking? Any clarification is appreciated!

Yeah, I guess he was complaining about the "test of courage", saying it was something of poor taste. But in the end he was scared, that's why he tried to complain, lol.
