The moral of the story, while benign, was so painfully overstated that it was a little reminiscent of watching an after-school special.
But ultimately the characters seem like pretty cool people, and in the end it's refreshing how straightforward the heroine is. Would absolutley love to see similar characters in something where they can do their thing with a focus a bit less dominated by the Aesop.
