I remember this stuff from games. A lot of effort went into it and once you told others about it, there was always the one, who just got it on their first try. While you were doing it for ages and didn't know, if you were just unlucky or fought the wrong mob.

Eh, that's fine. Yun doesn't need to be an edgy alpha MC who doesn't take no for an answer and only does things if you pay him tribute. We have far, FAR too many of those. Being like this he has his own charm, despite all the beta doormats out there, he feels less like one of those and more like just an unfortunate who can't react in time to getting dragged into things - which he usually winds up getting a profit out of, so it works good.

Eh, Yun is overly obliging but he does also tend to get favors back pretty often. His relationships involve a lot of back and forth, even if he occasionally gets dragged into stuff - Myu's and Taku's groups are always willing to help him even before he offers rewards, the crafting guild gives him a lot of preferential treatment (yes, he helped a lot with the founding, but they've always been generous to him), Sei wants to spoil him as his older sister, stuff like that. It's not like he gets nothing for his troubles, and mostly gets completely overrun by people who tend to overrun everyone, like Mikazuchi.

Also, it's a comedy. "Here we go again *laugh track*" is a tried and true setup for getting events going with the straight-man.

@BloodySorcerer IMO it would be kinda funny at first but get annoying if one of the ranged dps's or supports of my party constantly fought for attention(heals) and aggroed all the mobs at once cause they were bored forcing to use limited consumables on what should be an easy dungeon, and to top it off typing a line or so every time they manage to land a kill on a mob. Also the idiot that constantly gets the group in trouble is a bit overused.
TLDR: Can be funny in a super casual setting but gets annoying real quick if you wanna get anything done and dumb idiot is overused.
