Always a treat to see this. Much the same vibes as BLAME! and that authors other meandering works. 'What' 'why' and 'how' are all sidestepped by an overwhelming need to survive the moment or reach the next destination. The very moments of an apocalypse, as the setting digests itself, and the main characters must sqeek out from between fates teeth.
