I wish they would look a little more distinct from each other.

A "slightly different hair color" does not translate well into monochrome Manga. :korone:

But oh well, not like Lavie will be playing much of a role in the future, so it won't be too distracting I guess.

Uh, the thing about being bite by a vampire is usually the body doesn't age or rot and becomes more resilient/powerful.

I mean the other things are "dying in light, aversion to garlic/holy symbols and needing permission to enter places" but those dont seem to be working here.

Guess the bite killed Lavie's soul but kept the body intact. Susie's soul took over the body but the vampire aspect didnt work since its not the same soul or something.

They need to look real close at Susie's neck. >.>

But that would still be heartbreaking if they found out their adopted daughter is puppetering their biological daughter's corpse. ._.

Or she is and this proves it more.

Lavie's body was buried and probably wouldn't decay because of the vampire bite.

The body Susie is in had to come from somewhere, the fact it looks EXACTLY(not close to, not sorta like, but exactly) like the dead girl to where literally everyone who knew Lavie is shocked on meeting Susie can't be a coincidence.

The fact it was a vampire bite of all things, when anything else would probably discredit the theory, almost makes this confirmed honestly.
mild spoiler:
she is NOT using lavie her bodie, its just a coincidence in a way and its most likely that the gods had a hand of her beeing in this world and near this village with them and has connecting memories of the previous hero (who was also a girl, known from broken flashbags that are cut from the manga till now

They look actually 1:1 exactly the same? dude
blue archive vampire is kinda funny though
A vampire that targets kids?

That's bound to create enemies who will spend every second on exacting revenge.
As opposed to regular vampires that kill your gran and you just dont care right

surely it is most likely they look the same due to the game's character creator having a limited amount of set options that have also been used to fill in the npcs

Are we drifting back to fantasy isekai now, or is most of the story just Amish slice of life?

After the first chapter, I expected things to be heavy into fantasy and magic, but instead it seems like her abilities have been hidden away and forgotten about as she just kind of slips into the place of this family's late daughter.

This series is strange. It starts like a cheat reincarnation story then unexpectedly goes slice of life with no action. I was always expecting a tragedy to happen or something that would cause the MC to leave and the real story would start, but I don't think that that's happening now. Unless this chapter's a setup for the daughter coming back as a vampire and killing her parents? No, probably not. Still enjoying it though.
From the WN, there is actually a lot more of her cheat moment in the earlier chapters, which the manga summarized them into like 3 pages. IMO that is reasonable because those chapters are get old quick since its just a repeating cycle of Susie experimenting with controlling her powers. I don't understand why they cut the flashbacks to his previous life tho.
Edit: those early chapters did have one attempt at tragedy tho, but necrophilic orcs might be a tad bit too extreme

That's kinda clever but also a bit fucked up.

The gods or whatever who dropped Susie here intentionally dumped her near a dude who's daughter looked like her but died so she'd have an in to connect with some people that could ease her into this world.

A part of me kind of wished that Susie was a reincarnation of Lavie to give her parents a second chance to be with their daughter (and she just doesn’t remember that past).

But I am also fine with Susie just being there to help the Claude family move on from Lavie’s death.

I mean from some hints and stuff, Susie can be judged as at least a demi-goddess which will later most likely reach full godhood. Also the place has already close connections with the previous Hero and were not happy how the Hero was treated. Thats why they try al they can to keep Susie secret, so that the country cant exploit her just like the past Hero. Which makes her connect with the world more and still wont rob her of happiness. So its basically to benefit all of them. Goddesses are smart and benevolent in that.

Thats why most theories here are kinda ... how to I say it nicely ... extremely off the mark.

PS: Susie may look like Lavie/Ravie but she is also a bit off in age and
Susie her body is growing up normally which makes the whole "its lavie her body but didnt age null and void."

If she died 10 years ago, how do so many people, especially the other children, recognize her? They would have been like toddlers.

Man MC really is a spitting image of Lavie, no wonder everyone thought it was her

Gona be REALLY interesting to see when MC 1 shots that fucking vampire and the author BETTER make that happen because bruh MC 1 shot a dragon so there's no dam way MC should struggle towards a fucking vampire :aquadrink:
Can't help but wonder if the vampire is that weirdo from the previous chapter or somehow connected. MC couldn't move then, or maybe it was just her too frightened.

There's too much going on and wild swings in tone seemingly every chapter. I need this manga to pick a lane and stay in it.

Don't forget that Susie remembers his past life as a salaryman playing a video game where he made the character Susie.
Yeah, I'm saying that that past might have been fabricated as a defence mechanism.
