I dont have any issues with any of that.

Im a die hard fan of genderbender. I dont think authors need to be trans in rl to write genderbender stuff. I also dont think genderbender stories need to be realistic.

I was simply explaining to the other user that I dont think the author's character/behaviors are written poorly or unrealistically. In other words, I think there were plenty of logical and reasonable explanations for why Susie could be written the way she is.

I just like seeing how someone will handle gb

to be fr, genderbender is also a way to write female chars without being very good at it for some people or to make a fmc appeal to a male audience with all the "i can see myself in that person" thing

Grown man acting like a teenaged girl. Would've rather it just been a teenaged girl character, but since the story invoked gender bender, I'd at least expect some mismatching in expected behavior. If you removed chapter 1, the rest of the story would flow just as it does. But now there's a silent elephant in the room invoked by the genre every time he acts reasonably similar to how a young girl would in certain situations.
