Honestly, I don't think Nadine and Katherine probably had the energy to bang right there in the prison anyway. They kind of just did a climactic final battle arc.

The aftermath of the final battle. As expected, Maxwell still had supporters but it's good that someone was able to make the case that he corrupted the kingdom and society with his shady politics.

What I didn't expect was the plot twist that the "maid" Vis was actually Arienora's mother, the empress!? In hindsight, it made some sense when applying Maxwell's extremely misogynistic politics; under his insanely sexist ideology even the empress being reduced to a lowly maid made some sense if her only role was to bear heirs and she couldn't anymore.

I can't even fully blame the emperor for treating his wife in that way, since I'm sure he was influenced by Maxwell's rotten ideas and it was highly likely a loveless political marriage as well. But now that the root of the societal rot is gone, some normalization has to start happening, and I believe we see this beginning with the empress's restoration.

In my headcanon Nadine and Katherine at least kissed in that bed. But getting frisky wasn't possible when their two good friends were also there, unless they had an exhibitionism kink...
