Other than it being 'necessary supplies' for like a home ec class or so, you'd think the fact that there are 'boys kits' to begin with means there would be times they'd need to use it as opposed to "Mom: i'm tired of fixing your buttons, sew it back on yourself" kinda thing, tho feels like some blank one where you draw on it yourself/write your name on would be ideal

Reminds me of when I was in the waiting room at a hospital there was a mother and a little boy (couldn't be older than 5) next to me. They were picking out backpacks from her phone and her son loudly exclaims he wants the pink one, was excited, when mom scrolled past it. The mom said "that's for girls, let's pick a different one"
