Such a cute story!!

Love the big sister little sister friendship between the main characters!! And that Shinobu, every step of the way on Rui interest in being more "girly", is to preserve what Rui enjoys. So Rui's makeovers are not about making her into someone else but finding what style suits her best so she is always comfortable and happy.

Like I love how catered the makeovers are, like Shinobu gets Rui, while interested to get more "girly" Rui probably won't put the time or money to upkeep a really trendy hair/makeup or spend on outfits so they instead teach Rui a simple hairstyle, the basic skincare/make up routine, and how to think when she is shopping for clothes. I think is really sweet Shinobu tells her to keep enjoying the things she enjoys and at the heart of it to not change who she is. ITS REALLY CUTE and honestly really similar to how I started getting more "girly" myself.

(like my sisters are the ppl who love the hair, clothes, and makeup scen while I found my own pace with those things so its nice to see both worlds being talked talked about without putting shade on either. There is no right or wrong just what makes you happy!)
