I can't understand her loving the dude, fr, I can understand forgiving him for bringing justice to the wicked, but love? Oh God no. It would absolutely bring a sane person to the edge of madness.

I reeaaallly wanted to like this. but honestly after it solved the initial issue and they got together, it should've ended. it wouldn't have been great but it still would've been good. but now they keep introducing problems and it's outstayed its welcome.

please note that this comment was written in a fit of rage
the only thing I'm really upset about is that this was marked as completed. I went into this manga expecting a finished story and a somewhat happy ending. But ending it off so suddenly and killing off a lot of important characters really wrecked my day. the only thing I want fixed is for this to be labeled as ongoing and not completed.

So.

The first half and a bit of this is solid. Its drama, its knives, its pain and its bittersweet. Solid 8/10, would tear up again.
Yes, some of the bits are a bit ??? when it comes to realism and like.. Hell no girl wtf. BUT thats normal when its supposed to be an over-the-top dramatic story and its supposed to flare your emotions to the max.

However. Then the uhh.. Then things happen.
And thats the best way I can explain it.
Because its not even on a level of "bad things" or "good things", its just things. Its like a shounen anime level fight arc happens, where shit is exploding left and right and we're getting SO much information about interpersonal relationships and politics, its unpalatable.
You end up sitting there, just staring at this traincrash of a plot turn. You can't turn away. You can't leave. You aren't enjoying yourself, thats for sure, but you have to see the end of it.

The story should have ended when the main two find out all the secrets. That should have been it. But the writer apparently went on a bender and refused to put the pen down. Someone should have stopped them. Where was the editor!?
A perfectly good tearjerker drama has this weird tumor of a second half stuck to it, that MIGHT have been good if given about 10 years of developement, but no. It had to be squeezed into a Lahti L39 antitank-riffle slug and shot right into the reader's temporal cortex.

8/10 but with a warning to watch out for antitank-riffle bullets.
