This manga makes me angry. Entirely because I didn’t discover it sooner.

An absolutely 10/10 diamond in the rough that is other crossdressing manga. The characters are flawed, lovable, and sincere. The story also uses genuine communication between characters to resolve things, which is shocking in a sea of characters who refuse to just talk.

Also best girl won, which was incredibly daring even though both of them were genuinely fantastic. He loved Ah-Chan initially because he thought she saw past his scary face, but he fell in love with Botan because she truly did and I think that’s beautiful. If This came out today I could see this ending as a throuple and honestly I think that’s the only thing that could have made this better.

10/10, if I could rate it higher I would.

Coming back to reread as is tradition. My head canon is that later Tokujira reads about throuples. So she tells Botan about it and Itsuki is unwittingly at first dragged into it, with interminent Cross dressing dates.

Tokujira, having fallen down a rabbit hole of LGBTQ+ books after she first showed interest in the lesbian books, finds a book about Gender Fluidity. She presents it to Itsuki, as she recalls that he feels more comfortable as a girl sometimes, and all three of them go on a journey of Self discovery.

And the other guy gets hit on by his best bud at the festival and it all spirals for those two as well.
