Page 26, he talks about magic tools as something he never saw, which is strange since he comes from a world where normal people have higher magic than this new one
perhaps the abundance of magic made such tools/technology redundant. like how the japanese method of folding metal to make swords was not well known in the west due to the fact that richer iron ores didn't need such a technique to increase metal's strength.
Aawww. The time skip negated my most anticipated aspect from last chapter: the language barrier. I wanted more of him looking around and exploring the world with the barrier and while he makes all the insightful observations he was making before.
