Am I the only one that hopes that in the spur of the moment MC comes clean and reveal himself? I know that it will stir problems but I believe that it would be better to have problems now and then time to reconcile, instead of FMC discovering everything later on and distance herself in a moment when they are closer than now

Yeah you're not the only one but I think they may drag things out a little more as most manga's do with their gimmiks.

Though I think if the author would go down that route they could still make quite an interesting story for example:

FMC distances herself from MC and MC gets closer to seto sama in an attempt to win her heart back. Otherwise Seto (Orange idol hair) kinda loses her purpose as a character (maybe FMC also gets closer to her other relationships).

Tbh it sounds a lot like toradora (which it is in a way). But I think the characters and situation are unique enough that they could work.

The routes the author could go with this could be going into FMC's mind psychologically and explore how she feels about the betrayal, whether she wants to move on or not, and how to deal with tsukiyama in the future.

As well as connect her to the supporting cast more by having them as people to deal with the lie and people for her to lean on and learn about tsukiyama.

Meanwhile, it'd be interesting to see Seto help MC out on some excuse and give us the audience a glimpse into more of their personal relationship and flaws.

All the while, MC and FMC are still connected through the student council and forced to interact between each other. Eventually, helping them rediscover their feelings for each other.

There are some drawbacks to this kinda route of course mainly a risk that seto earns all the favor and not wolf senpai which could be mitigated maybe by showing how personally bad the lying is to wolf senpai and how she feels it played with her heart.

Another drawback is aside from him kinda playing with her heart she doesn't have many reasons to hate him. which yes you can still use that as a reason, but something like that will just cause the manga to likely end quickly

(unless MC falls for Seto as well which I'd think would be better as an interaction where through their time shared together he helps Seto move on from him instead of an annoying love triangle to extend chapters.)

Besides that I think overall this would be the route with most potential if tsukiyama (MC) were to confess now his identity.

Its a hail mary on her part. She knows she has these budding feelings for MMC but also knows that if she doesn’t confess now they’ll linger. Better to try her hand and potentially burn that bridge than go “what if” for ages.

He's not just hiding his real identity, he created a character who has a routine that doesn't exist, has friends that don't exist, when he reveals himself, how will she know what was true there?


the way he intends to resolve this is also terrible if he intends to make the character disappear by rejecting her
