Well, this is oneshot, after all. Besides, looking back at chapter 1, in full manga he introduced himself when he picked a sakura petal off her head, here - Ookumo read his name from the test sheet he dropped, so i'm pretty sure it wasn't supposed to be a part of the series.

Yeah you right. I completely forgot about the petal bit when I was translating. Yea even Ueshiba Riichi mentioned that in the epilogue that this chapter was sorta like a prototype Ookumo-chan manga.
