Well that was anti climactic. Whole chapter felt weird referencing stuff that was never shown and than the reveal just happens. Kinda lame.

Chapters and chapters he tried to hide her identity, and then suddenly BLAM he about-faces and drops the big reveal like it is nothing.

I actually kinda like how that played out. When it was just about his own wants and needs it had to stay a secret, but the instant his mother needed it... all that was just thrown aside.
