Yeah, I admit that wasn't my best translation. I'm not even entirely sure what the original phrase means: 押し寄せる焦り "oshiyoseru aseri". According to jisho.org, "oshiyoseru" in this context probably means something like to surge forward, to inundate or to overwhelm, but it's an intransitive verb... And "aseri" is impatience. So I guess the impatience is overwhelming her? If someone here has an idea, please let me know!
