I dont know, from were you coming from, i asume (and hope)you come from a place of ignorance and not a place of hate so let me right some wrongs.

That stereotype is factual wrong and comes from a (bad faith?) misinterpretation of some studies. Usually these studies ask for abuse experiences no matter the perpetrators gender and diferenciate in a later step. There are some studies where lesbians do experience a somewhat higher abuse rate but these numbers are well within the standart deviation when former abusive male partners are excluded, that lesbians might had have before and while coming out.

That beeing said, both in absolute numbers as well as in accumulated procentiles, most abuse studies show that most female-recipient abuse is perpetrated by males, the reason why lesbians are the only surveyed group with a higher number of female perpetrators is... oh wonder... because lesbian relationships do usually include women exclusively. But as I said there are twilight scenarios like coming out cases.

Who conducts abuse is not dependent of gender or sex, there are men who are abused by women, men who are abused by men and every other constelation possible. Lesbians and women-loving-women are not an excemption of this, but framing a group as "you have to expect domestic abuse" equates this group as inherently abusive and by that it not only replicate homophobic rethoric but also punishes and ridicules actual lesbian survivors of abuse by giving them faulting them for beeing abused, which is literally the worst F*CKING thing you can do to a victim of abuse. Think " you should have known, idiot, you should have stayed straight"

That beeing said if you are comming from a place of hate, homophobia, then.... why the fuck are you even reading a lesbian story? F*CK you for spreading false information, a*shole
