Option to exclude non translated manga all together.

I often find myself looking for english bl webtoons on this site however every other one I click on ends up saying there're no translated chapters in my selected language.

Personally this gives me a false hope that these manga have an english translation and it makes searching for something to read a lot harder when every time you find a cover that looks good, it's got 0 chapters.

Thus it is my suggestion that where you select what language you want the chapters of manga to show up, you have another option that allows you to hide any manga that doesn't currently have any chapters in your selected language so the website is easier to navigate when looking for new things to read, instead of just hiding the chapters.

I agree with this, also if possible to not include specific languages when looking through the titles, as alot of times mangas I follow appear in the titles tab, only for me to find out that the last updated chapter wasn't in english, its soul crushing.

If/when "last updated respects language filters" is implemented, sorting by "last updated" would put anything without chapters in your language at the very end, as they would have been technically updated "never". If "search by ranges" ends up including "last updated", you might be able to exclude them entirely.

Key words "your", "selected", "language".

Did I say english? No. This would be a tool useful to ANYONE navigating the site. IF the only language you speak is chinese, with this tool you could remove all the english manga from showing up in your search results.

The way the site works right now has it so the non translated manga still shows up in your search results, and when you click on them it says there're no chapters in your language. With my suggestion, the entire manga wouldn't show up UNLESS it DID have translated chapters in my selected language.

It's literally the same option as before, except we're changing chapters to the entire manga listing.

If a series doesnt show up because it doesnt have X language, then nobody would be able to upload a chapter in that language. In otherwords the whole purpose of the site would be useless. So this would likely be rejected

The purpose of this suggestion, as MrIncognito has said, is ready covered by a planned "feature" - a fix may be more appropriate term, so I don't see any point in this.

@Yatsuki Not entirely true. If you are using your Follows page and look at "Reading" under the "Manga" tab, it will show when the manga was most recently updated, regardless of language -something I hope get fixed eventually.

@blackyawgdom The option wouldn't start off enabled and all that really needs to happen is for the existing option that lets you hide all the CHAPTERS that are in another language to simply change into an option that lets you hide all the MANGA that are in another language.

The reason why this would be a good implementation is because it would stop "empty" manga from appearing when you search for something. Again, this is an OPTION so not everyone would be unable to see those untranslated manga, just the people who don't want to see them.

If someone was an uploader, they could simply disable that filter before checking to see if something needs to be uploaded or not. Therefor your statement " then nobody would be able to upload a chapter in that language" doesn't make any sense.

I'll just finish this off by saying that they could simply add language tags to manga and then just update the tags as new translations get added. That would enable my suggestion to work without any problems.

@Yatsuki Ive already done that, but when going through specific genres the other language updates still cause titles to be higher up the list, even when the update wasn't in the specified language. If you have the time would you check to see if a similar issue occurs on your browser, that way I can know if its due to my browser not?

Yeah, this issue is always popping
I always find empty translation (when I already filter the language)
Especially in search -> recent update, or search + genre filter
