I'm not very good at articulating, so it's difficult for me to explain what exactly is bad. It certainly wasn't the worst translation I've seen though. But it was just some of the wording. It was cleaned decently and typesetting was decent too. Just needed some proofreading and tweaks made.

The cleaning was fine and the typesetting, too; the problem was that it read like unedited MTL.

And i gave up reading further, honestly people could say it's not that bad, and yes you are right.
My level of English is really lacking so i generally don't mind MTL, i even think dead/abandoned series are perfect for MTL, you might find people that enjoy the series willing to help you ( what happened in my case, same for the group working on Neta Chara Tensei Toka Anmarida! just to give an example ), maybe just find someone willing to proofread.
I have definitely read worst, sadly my interest to this series isn't high enough for me to read and "translate" already translated text.

As others mentioned, the cleaning and typesetting was pretty good, the only real issue could be to have some proof reading. While you could somewhat understand what was being talked about, it was kind of confusing regarding wording choices.

One idea is to ask for help with translation from ChatGPT after you do your own translation, asking it what it thinks of your translation and what it would change and then asking english speaking friends to read the final result to know what they think.

While I don't think you should use ChatGPT to do the whole translation process or its not much different from MTL, it is very good as a translation assistant like that when you are doing the translation and it is only working as an automated proofreader.

I don't think the shopkeeper should be that proud of an iron sword, or call it first class. That's like the bottom level sword. It wouldn't be a surprise if it did break. At least make and sell steel swords. Looks like the demon princess wasn't fooled, so I guess it's okay.

Same, I tried actually reading it the first time around and it hurt my brain.

I revisited it a bit later, and as long as you focus on the pictures and quickly skim the text without thinking too hard about the wording, then it almost makes some sense.

actually, doing a revert translation EN-JP in my head, i understood most errors, like in p16 for example, butler says "a home... that's the...". translating back to japanese (sound only), it becomes "iie... sore ha..." then, back in english: "no... that's..." witch fits way more in the context.
most errors are like this.
got a brain fart reading it, but i saw worse...
