Wait, so let me get this straight… I understand why Chiharu doesn’t confess—she’s shy, afraid, and whenever she does try to make a move, Keigo’s blank expression throws her off. She can’t read what he’s thinking, so she panics and retreats.

But with Keigo, I'm not really convinced by the reasoning. The idea seems to be that even if he confesses and they start dating, it wouldn’t be a healthy relationship because he struggles to express emotion, which would just make Chiharu more anxious since she still wouldn’t be able to read him.

I get it… but at the same time, it’s a bit of whiplash. We’ve seen how naturally cute and affectionate they are in the dream world, so going from that to them hesitating and overthinking how to even start a relationship feels a bit jarring.

That said, I’m still really enjoying it. Seeing them embrace each other—even if it’s only in a dream, especially this early on—is genuinely sweet.

Thanks for the translation.

I think the issue is that Keigo understands Chiharu since she confesses everything in the dream world, but Chiharu doesn't understand Keigo since she remembers nothing from the dream world so she's basically still stuck in chapter 1 mode where she is unintentionally sabotaging herself by overthinking things.

Consequently Keigo is kinda overthinking things too because he is trying to make himself readable to Chiharu. So it's a funny little story of two people stumbling around in love.

I'm in love with the concept of this series, and execution thus far. A dream world where you can strategize directly with your mutual love interest on how to get past each of your respective difficult personality flaws in order to successfully confess without it coming across the wrong way or causing them to doubt the confession or themselves.. Actually really unique and comfy. Looking forward to more.

Yeah, 100%—that’s why I give Chiharu the benefit of the doubt. From her perspective, nothing has really changed, so her hesitation makes sense.

With Keigo, I might’ve been a bit too harsh. I can tell he’s genuinely trying to improve and become more expressive so she can actually understand him better.

Man, the way Chiharu just casually sitting in Keigo's lap near the beginning.... and always in some cute, slightly-revealing pajamas its just so adorable :hearts: .

Chiharu out here sabotaging herself with some strategy she thinks is working, but isn't... or maybe it did. Cause Keigo did come to love her eventually. If only she'd be honest with herself... but we wouldn't have a manga at that point =0v.

This really hits a spot for me. MC is not a beta simp, he is full-on stoic! He can express his feelings, and he can {kinda} lay on the charm. The fact that each night they can call this time out and be 100% honest is so refreshing. I like the twist of her not remembering, and I wonder if that has anything to do with her keeping her charm on her, while he leaves his at home? 🤔
Funny how they don't appear to do much work in this student council.... :sneaky:

Yeah, also he did kinda screw up at the beginning if you reread chapter 1.

Chiharu flirts with him not once but twice, using it as a chance to gauge his interest in her by straight up asking him if he's into her. Keigo being dense as a brick rejects her twice without realizing it.
