It's not just that, the girls are just completely braindead. They try super hard to appeal to him using pointless shallow bullshit like lunch boxes or acting like a fucking dog or something, and then the childhood friend's like "I'll apologize!" and she's like "sorry for saying mean things", which is OBVIOUSLY NOT WHAT SHE SHOULD BE APOLOGIZING FOR. She turned down his confession saying she had a boyfriend, that is obviously what the issue between them is, and that is not "saying mean things". Unless she either clarifies that it was a lie, or clarifies that she's not dating him anymore, or whatever the fuck else is going on, then obviously nothing is gonna happen, and anything else she does is completely pointless, and literally anyone could figure that out. It's like, it'd be a misunderstanding if both sides were confused about something, but clearly the girls know exactly what's going on and are just too mentally handicapped to use their mouths and verbalizing it to him.
