I dunno why you're surprised.Aaaaand he forgave them... sigh...
He probably doesn't have the self-confidence to get angry and thinks it's his fault.I dunno why you're surprised.
The entire point is that he is kindness inviolate, and all the trauma and bullshit that broke him is meant to show the resiliency of his compassion for others.
He's the moral nexus of the series, which is why everything first happens to him, and then everyone who wronged him has to go through an actual redemption arc and figure out how to square who they were with who they wish to become.
And it's why they all punish themselves, rather than MC being the judge/jury/executioner. He is what they all aim for, in becoming better people and overcoming their flaws and issues.
His forgiveness is the narrative device signaling that shift for each other member of the cast. If he didn't forgive them, their arc would remain unfulfilled, and their story cut off. Once he does, though, each of them move forward toward that improved state.
Literally Jesus.I dunno why you're surprised.

So much this.Literally Jesus.
Or at least what he’s supposed to be. Jesus ain’t up to snuff on morality.

Bro's suffering is something else
still goddess senpai is the best one so far, isn't crazy and treats him well and not like a slab of meat... the bar is super low, but she's a lot higher than the restIt's hard for me to keep track of how many women are after him to the point that I've accepted that any girl we see in the story is a candidate. I still appreciate that for more older oneesans & Milfs. Thanks for the translations.
For the outsiders Yukito looks like a forgiving man but his close family knows he's twisted beyond salvation, Yuri points out a few times his empty room and polite=wall-like manners with the family. His monologues hint Yukito's lack of self-worth etc etc.I’m confused about what this is even about anymore. All the people who treated him like shit had no consequences at all.
So what… he just gets to carry those shitty years of isolation and abuse around and all the perpetrators get happy lives since he accepted an apology and unburdened them from the 5 seconds of guilt they had?
I feel like tho whole thing was a joke
OH shit. The onee-san neighbor. Now it clicks. Didn't recognise her, did they change her hair? She was an apprentice teacher when he was younger. He was blamed and bullied for something he didn't do and she sided with the rest of the class, which broke him and set him up to entrap one of his classmates into a situation he could he could mercilesly fight back under the excuse of self defense. He eventually blocked that memory but it weighted on her enough to quit teaching.
She probably associated his happiness with both a shot at redemption as well as something she owed him, which eventually became an obsession, which is sort of what drives most of them in the story.
...okay, I honestly don't know who she is that clingy lady and what did he do to get her so hell-bent to get into his pants/marriage registry.
