It was fairly popular, had good sales, and ranked high on nico nico seiga. Most likely it wasn't axed, this was probably a planned ending from the beginning.Fucking crazy that this got axed so soon, the art is solid and there was actual romance that could happen since they'd already hit all couple milestones.
I wonder how bad the reception was in Japan, truly a shame. Best of luck with the next one eh.
From what people have written here, it sounds like it probably had enough source material to adapt another volume, but I guess the contract was just for the artist to do two volumes. It was most likely just advertisement for the light novel after all.It was good, but I can't figure out if I wanted it to have gone longer.
I am generally surprised it suddenly was finale'd - really felt it getting typically axed but I guess the publishers probably already feel they squeezed as much content and revenue from the source material. Nonetheless, it was decently concluded, quite satisfying considering that they built everything up really well in the preceding chapters, like they really intended this to run a bit more than it did.
Thanks to the Bear Necessities Scans for doing a great job on this!
are you stupid? what do you mean how can you be suprised? look the ending fucking sucks ass! it was so fucking abrupt! it sucks the enjoyment of the whole story!I mean even in LN it is ignored. He just drops that nuke like its nothing and it's not even mentioned again because, well, story literally ends next paragraph lol.
How can you be suprised about this getting axed. Apart from the original being a very short LN to begin with, premise itself is absolutely meaningless. Other unadapted parts are just your run of the mill teenage dates with these two. As i've said above, real reasons for their strife get mentioned literally in the last part of the ending chapter. Author obviously wanted write a wholesome slop but probably told that there is nothing special about it so they included this back in time premise which promptly gets ignored after chapter 1. They never act like grownups for the remaining of the story. Both don't really learn anything or face their faults in the end.
It's more common from Kadokawa though, which mainly is a novel company. I can't say I've seen it that often from Kodansha. So this was another one of those couple volume advertisements for LN? I’ve been seeing that shit more lately. Really annoying
tf?I woulda wanted to see how they handled the supposed her taking the rapist's side against him tbh famalam
