It said previously that ppl with more than 80 affection will be brought back to reality with him, so not all the targets will die I suppose.
So, the sword description said that it can DEFLECT blows, and the swordswoman first said he was EVADING the attacks, so I assumed that the invisible sword had an ability to change the trajectory of incoming attacks (since there is no way the one attacking won't tell the difference between the sword hitting something and not hitting anything).
And now, the attacks are blocked instead, so I don't know what to believe anymore. (along with how the sword was supposed to deflect VISIBLE attacks, and that he was clearly closing his eyes facing her slashes)
Also, I thought the woman had just eaten before going to do her job (although the MC didn't), and he suggests her to go eat again.. I guess this one kinda makes sense though, since MC would still be hungry, while the woman had affection towards him so she followed regardless she was hungry or not...
