Plot twists only work when they're unexpected. Making your protagonist a complete, brainless cretin and forcing him to run into extremely obvious trouble won't create suspense and surprises, just annoyance.

What's next, making him constantly jump into a vat of acid, surprised that he dies every time?

This guy needs 4 figure charm to rizz up anyone if that's all he can do at 60/70 (or whatever he's currently at).
The blade is honestly pretty op but it's a bit weird that the opponent perceives it as evading rather than blocking (both of which seemed pretty unrealistic in this case).
