Yes, a great mesugaki indeed. It is not exactly as a law, every school enforces their ruling, the fact they're not wearing one probably means they're in a public school. There are four types of schools in Japan, the ones usually portrait in manga/anime are private ones (which always use a uniform).

She actually leans more into it which is honestly a fresh take
I just question what would happen if mc took the bait with her offers

We're 4 chapters in and I gotta say, I think the one shot version of her is way better. Being a child with her first crush, she may look confident but she needs more signs of faltering. This is what I think the oneshot did far better. It heightens the tension and makes it feel more believable. LIke the struggle between the two of them isn't totally one-sided from the reader's perspective. Considering she basically wins every chapter anyways, the wins feel more satisfying after watching a hard fought battle (or the appearance of one).

Another thing I don't like, going from the oneshot to the manga: the children look too clean and the teacher looks less clean.

The brat comes off a bit closer to a himedere, and the boy comes off a bit closer to pampered. Their rougher appearances in the one shot sold the idea of their amateur-ness and made them feel like underdogs—makes you wanna cheer harder for their lofty attempts.

As for the teacher: making her less clean devalues the "trophy" or "model-prize" prop-characterization that both children climb towards.
