This. I don't mind the "everyone is weak but the MC is strong" cliche but I hate the "everyone is strong but the MC is so strong they are nearly irrelevant" thing. Let them cook too, doesn't have to be all the time but at least sometimes.

I actually hate the "everyone is weak but the MC is strong" cliché, because it often results in everyone getting kidnapped one after the other until MC steps in and flicks them away, just because they can't handle a simple bandit...

then that's all the more reason why he should've arrived long ago. I highly doubt that the distance between his home and the edge of his forest is so great that he can't bridge that within a few steps...

a) he only set off when the event was already starting, b) no, he shouldn't have arrived long ago. Speed legs doesn't mean that everything is built for speed, or that it ignores the weight of the power body and can still go as fast as when it's the all speed configuration. That's why I explicitly noted what Daichi said when he put it together- that it was with the intent that they balance.
