Actual sfx translation is rare to come by these days. Rare to see a group even bother translating those. It really does add to the overall reading experience, knowing what those weird characters are supposed to be.

Sad to hear you might not keep translating, I expect MS to "forget" to continue updating once there is no pressure to keep doing so.

While cynical, they really have no reason to upload here on MD, in fact it would almost be detrimental to do so. Because once all the chapters are here on MD, this manga won't drive traffic to their site. So yeah, once the pressure is off, they have a vested intrest to slow roll the chapters.

For your first foray into scanlating this is super well done! I appreciate somebody who puts in enough effort to polish MTL into something worth a damn. Even if you don't continue working on this series I hope you'll keep scanlating, you're definitely worth supporting
