If you want to use MTL to translate, you're far better off using a program like Panel Cleaner to OCR the whole chapter at once, and running the Japanese script through gemini and/or chatgpt and editing it afterwards. I'd recommend using both chatboxes since they get stuff wrong once in a while, and checking it with two helps a lot. I've made a guide and how to use Panel Cleaner here.

I'm liking the dynamic between the MC and tanuki girl so far.

This guy's getting ran through the ringer like seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if he flipped them off and dipped cuz I probably would. Just the day before he had his dreams shattered then stomped on by a tanuki and now today he's getting called a piece of trash and an outsider.

I think it'd be actually more satisfying if he just left full of spite to be better than them.
