Edit: went down a weird internet hole about these beetles, and apparently breeding them is popular. Also her wearing the shirt may be a inside joke, about her yandere tendencies and the behaviours of said beetles. It seems the male beetles will aggressively hold onto something and refuse to put it down for a long amount of time. So maybe the beetle shirts are referencing her obsessing and refusing to let go of her brother. I could also be reading way to far into this and the author just likes beetles

I've got no clue if thats actually the significance of the beetle shirt, but it seems like they are popular since there are some websites in Japanese talking about breeding them.

It does get a little weirder, when I kept reading about the beetles and it seems that a Japanese collector, Hiroshi Fujita, published a book , The Lucanid Beetles of the World, with 20 new subspecies of the beetle, but his sub specie classifications are disputed. Currently there are only twenty accepted sub species of beetle. The beetles from chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 are not accepted sub species at least anywhere I can find they are probably from the Hiroshi Fujita book, the beetle sub species from chapters 8 and 9 are accepted sub species it seems. Maybe the author likes or read the the Hiroshi Fujita book with the 20 disputed sub species. Again, I did not think I would fall this far reading about beetle types in a incest manga ¯\(ツ)/¯

Sometimes the curtains are just blue and there's no deeper meaning behind it, but that doesn't mean that we can't have fun with overanalysis!

Honestly, I think it'd be hilarious to see this all end with him resoundingly rejecting her, not on the premise of "blood-related or not, we're still siblings", but on the reasoning that she was borderline abusive towards him pre-reveal and has been frighteningly controlling and overbearing post-reveal.

Like, going through all these chapters only for it to end with him getting a normal girlfriend and cutting the sister out of his life with a "you were an ass to me when you thought we were related, and now that you know we aren't you've drastically over-corrected and you're actually more toxic than before" would be peak comedy.
