Sry first time translating😅Bit of a mess with mixed up pronoun assignment (using I instead of You on page 10) that should’ve been easy to catch with a basic proofread
I looked back on it, there nothing wrong? Either you're seeing something I can't or I just don't knowSry first time translating😅
She’s chiding him for the whispered comment and he’s surprised she heard. At least that’s how I interpreted it, but I could be wrong not like I can read the original text.I looked back on it, there nothing wrong? Either you're seeing something I can't or I just don't know
Yeah English is my first language, and while translating I was looking for ways to translate it (ai, Google translate, etc.) also dw I found a way to translate it consistently. And in this chapter the translations I got were really bad, and I could barely tell what it was saying, and again, first time translating, typesetting, etc.😅so uh, assuming you speak English at least as your second language, please proofread it. would be even easier if you're also the one doing typesetting.
you can just read it and look for "oh this sounds weird" feeling. there's a reason why WCT's Re: Zero WN mtl, for example, is still enjoyable.
No, it's like when someone is monologuing in a show. Lemme use Omni-mans quote as an example "I... I think I miss my wife..." It's just to exaggerate their speech and show indecisivenessAlso on page 10 when she said "I", flow of the conversation suggests that she wanted to go out into the field and handle it herself. Should that "I" not have been "Me", as a response?
i did notice a lot of improvements in the latest chapter. that's great and needs to be appreciated. however i'd like to mention that while it's already good for a translation, it's still not adequate for a good work of art translation. instead of "you don't stand a chance", you can put something like "pathetic" or "weak." or something else to make it felt better, for example. putting in more phrases would be much better.Yeah English is my first language, and while translating I was looking for ways to translate it (ai, Google translate, etc.) also dw I found a way to translate it consistently. Thx a LOT, actually. Any feedback is very appreciated. If you wanted to, you could be a volunteer qc?i did notice a lot of improvements in the latest chapter. that's great and needs to be appreciated. however i'd like to mention that while it's already good for a translation, it's still not adequate for a good work of art translation. instead of "you don't stand a chance", you can put something like "pathetic" or "weak." or something else to make it felt better, for example. putting in more phrases would be much better.
tldr: mastering localization is your next goal. try to make the dialogues "written in English" instead of "translated to English".
there has to be a much better person for this but i guess sure until you found the better person. although i'd just point out places to improve here in the comments whenever i found them since i'm not that experienced in qc.Thx a LOT, actually. Yeah I'ma update the page you pointed outthere has to be a much better person for this but i guess sure until you found the better person. although i'd just point out places to improve here in the comments whenever i found them since i'm not that experienced in qc.
heck, you might even spot them by yourself eventually since you're reviewing it anyways when typesetting. there's also no real textbook to follow and it's just based on vibes + experience. a few hundred dialogue bubbles did that to me, at least.
Yeah I got a couple names wrong cuz of that😭trying to remember who all these people are after a three year gap
Yeah i realized that after uploading. It's cuz it's machine translated. I'ma update it rn igLast pg: his name’s Hugh, not Eug.
