The WN seems to becoming to an end based on the last chapter. Author is pushing hard to finish the story based on the pace of chapter 131.

Darn. Unlike most stories this one has stuck to it's premise and isn't a sappy love story or one about fate or what not and the MC isn't constantly saying (it has to be the way i remember because i can't handle the world changing) This story and even this chapter rn speaks that these foundations are great. But if the author ain't feeling it. Then there's not much we can do.

I have a theory, and WN/LN readers can refute if I'm wrong, but maybe the real Harold also doesn't want current Harold to become the villian because they'll die, again.

Despite having the same goal, real Harold still doesn't want to be a goody twoshoes and influences current Harold's speech to reflect his original personality. Also, I think real Harold knows something that current Harold doesn't and steers his speech so that certain events happen.

Nothing has ever implied that the original Harold is consciously influencing things in any way in both the manga and WN. The speech influence is like a permanently on filter rather than actually having any intent. The tone will always be condescending and provocative. If there was actual intent, it would have to change in meaningful ways depending on the situation, but it does not.

Harolds only used the life eating sword like twice, while Justus is falsely assuming hes using it as his main weapon. Thats why harolds dual wielding now, since he uses standard sword as his main weapon and has to keep the life eating sword since it has a tracker on it and Harolds pretending to work with justus

Thanks for reminding me about it, and yeah I prob caught off guard that he also duel wields at times and often reserves the sword. Still don't like the possibility of him dying though
