Lmao nothing gets a semi-established group posting again on a manga like someone coming in 4 months later to do it themselves. Typesetted one where the group hadnt posted a chapter in a year and a half and then the old group swooped back in and published like, 7 chapters the next day

i really still don't get why people are complaining about this or gds's actions tbh
meanwhile solo leveling, bleach, naruto, one piece and a bunch of other mangas also get multiple scanlators for en and other languages
this is actually more of an advantage than a disadvantage
if either of the groups drops the thing, the other would continue
or if the quality drops on the other you could always just switch to the other one
which has happened in some groups before
you can hate the practice of "oh you just uploaded now after some time"
but that doesn't exactly help the title tbh, that just means there's more eyes on this and would want to give scanlating this title a shot
also the 2 group leads already settled this amicably, so your complaints make 0 sense in this case

honestly think that they both groups should've just continued, they got too mad when jailbird himself said they already talked and settled things amicably
then these comments just rage hating on kirei cake when specifically told not to as much as i love mangadex,i don't think anyone would be comfortable uploading here tbh...
like i remember when the group i'm co-owner in uploaded a chapter, some people were very negative about it

I wouldn't be surprised if we can a handful of chapters and then nothing for months again.

Whenever we finally get someone passionate about a project and actually willing to put in the work for everyone, they are pushed away from it by the old group. The old group, who for all intent and purpose had dropped it without saying anything, come out of the woodwork and suddenly release new chapters within hours after the first new release. Everybody pissed at this behavior.

to be fair the raws are currently only up to 72, 73 this november so its not a massive gap, wouldn't hurt to wait tbh, i'd assme its more cliffhangers if anything

they have no place to be pissed tbh, there's nothing wrong with having 2 groups work on the thing
also they resolved this amicably
the only reason Jailbird's stopping is because people kept attacking kirei cake and made a big fuss about it despite being explicitly told not to

Well I'm not new to the scene? and Kirei Cake decided to work together with asphyxiav2, and in other cases push them away how? its not like mangadex gets involved, scan groups do not own the property, anyone can scan and do it.
you can be pissed at their behavior but like i said they do not owe it to us. They can hold the chapters just as much as they can upload it whenever, asphyxiav2 has even stated they were going to upload until it catches up
