That's the problem, that's why people have been reacting so strongly. There are certain groups, of which this is one of them, that never, ever drop a translation. They simply go quiet for 3 months, 6 months, a year, two years, however long it may be until either they feel like doing a chapter (completely random) or somebody new comes along to start translating the series in which case they'll suddenly drop 3 to 5 new chapters less than a day later and then go completely quiet again.

This pattern repeats itself over, and over, and over again to the point that a lot of people are completely sick of it and are desperate for somebody to break the cycle at last.

Actually, Kirie had announced recently that they're dropping a lot of their series to focus on the rest of their projects. This series being one of the ones they want to continue.

This is why the comments for the last few chapters are a complete shit show. I can see why someone wouldn’t want to wade in honestly.

I still think people trying their hand at translations and KC doing their thing going forward is the best approach. Some series have an expectation of multiple translations, just look at any popular or even slightly popular manhwa, you have the pick of the litter even with naver bringing the hammer down every few years/months.

This series might not be worth it though, we were 5 or 4 and a half chapters behind when you dropped yours which is perfectly fair game, something a year plus or officially dropped would be a less contentious place to start.
