To be fair, one of the earlier chapters they talked about a party collapse where everyone killed each other over drama, so I think the worry is not so much "oh well it was fun, guess ill go back to my slow life in my wonderful childhood village" and more "oh well it was fun, guess it's time to murder everyone in their sleep because they're all against me"

Are we reading the same manga? Because it was never implied that the consequences are for just disbanding the party. What was implied was that one party got wiped out due to internal conflict because of a relationship in the party and that is what Rin and Sophia fear the most, more so now that the other dude is the one who likes Sophia.

i'm saying how ridiculous it is that we get reminded about the party disbanding at the end of every chapter. there's not even an implication of other long-lasting consequences or any sense of dread/threat/danger or whatever. dude gets rejected and goes crazy and bloodshed follows, big fucking deal. first manga ever where this illogical bullshit happens for sure. and if there's actually more to it, they have to hint at it immediately to justify counting days. a single powerful image or a convo between some shadowy figures or whatever the fuck, doesn't matter. just something that shows what could be at stake here when the worst comes to pass. but just putting a counter there that announces when the drama starts is ridiculous and even if other reasons are introduced later on, it'll just feel tacked on, lazy, pointless or that the author is trying to avoid the axe without anyone being able to take it seriously if we're like 10, 20, 30 or even more chapters into the manga. the only ppl that'll remain are gooners that read it for the booba.
