The more I find out this was the same person who did the mute girl and the oblivious dude makes me understand why the protag here is hurled onto so many absurd plot points.

The concept of a guy farming infinite aura and rizz because he's so distracted by studying is such a stupid premise that I can't wait to see how it shakes up

It's a fun twist on a premise we've seen before: Serious guy who only studies somehow rizzes out the entire town. Everyone, except for the one person he's studying for. And while he spends all his time studying to (maybe) get with a girl (he won't), he misses out on all the memories he should be making instead of studying. There's enough irony there to carry the premise for a while, but I also wonder if this 'plot' doesn't fizzle out or jump the shark after a couple of volumes.

I do enjoy the gags so far, and that's a good sign. That plastic bag during the hurricane was hilarious.

Damn man, this manga is seriously digging up my past. I had this crush in elementary thats going into this elite school in within the city for highschool. Naturally i also applied for that school since im gonna go to college so may as well go into a serious highschool but mostly because i wanted to ask her out. So i studied my ass off and got into that elite highschool. By the end of fresh man year i landed a different girlfriend.... Although not an exact 1:1 with our boi yotaro here but this manga is a nostalgia trip for me
