I'm on the side of "hold off on judging the mother because we don't know enough about her yet". The father might just be garbage enough that she can't do enough to support the kids, and she may have not known why her son left (IMO it's plausible that her husband simply lied).

I'm on the side of they are both evil. She has had no contact with the son, she herself adopted for years, she's never came by to visit, even if she didn't know about dad 2 kicking him out, she never followed up, she was like that all his life, cast to the sidelines.

Looks like they treat their own blood daughter not much better, no 18 birthday, to busy with their own drama to care for a child and truency for more than a year and nothing is done. Plenty of signs there both are sh**

Everyone's blaming the mother, but who's to say she was in on her husband's bullshittery? Their fighting might even be because he chased the son off for all we know. It's too early to make any judgements about her.

The mom didn't bother to take a day off from work to take care of her adopted son who had the flu and a high fever. He was suffering alone without no one to care except for the little sis.

A good parent don't let their sick child unattended, instead they call their workplace to tell their boss about the situation and take the day off before calling a doctor. But this Mom didn't bother to do any of that, neither the father.

With this kind of neglect, I won't be surprised if the Mom was okay with the Dad's decision to chased him out.

So I got 2 hypotheses:

1. Daddy's marriage has been failing for a long time and only kicked out our boi to experiment if that would change anything at all. It didn't. Daddy is gonna die alone regardless.
2. After Daddy kicked out our boi, the mother actually started hating his ass because of it. Then again, it begs the question, why did she allow it to happen in the first place? One reason could be the classic power dynamics in a Japanese marriage, aka, the wife has little say into anything. Or maybe the mother was lied to about it. I feel like this is the more likely option, because this is something interesting that the manga could elaborate on later on.

That translation doesn't exist any more.

Here's one that does. They are slow-releasing the chapters after the first quarter hundred, asking for money for instant access.

But I read to chapter 19, where they start living together and set on giving it their all for each other, and I think it's a good place to finish reading it. Makes for a nice little self-contained story that doesn't overstay its welcome, without any pseudo-incest weirdness.

I'm pretty sure it was this. That guy strikes be as being that sort of narcissistic. And I can tell you from personal experience in dealing with that type: there are few things more narcissistic than throwing out a family member just because they think they're crowding the picture.

And I suspect the reason Sabu hasn't said anything to Yuuha yet is because, even as big of a douche canoe her father is, he probably feels that'd be kinda rude to do - you know, spouting off like, "Yeah, sounds about right they're getting divorced. Your dad's a piece of shit."

But given that a bitter and acrimonious divorce is in the works? I'm sure it'll come out soon enough. Might still take a while. The one thing that would accelerate this would be if he was aiming to get custody of Yuuha, but since she's 18 already, that's a non-issue - she goes where she wants to go.
